Biography

Morey, Marion L. 

Marion L Morey ,79, of Waverly, formerly of Chemung, NY, left to be with her husband on Saturday May 29,2010 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Pa. She is predeceased by her husband, Frederick F Morey Sr. and recently her daughter-in-law Olivia Morey. Marion was an avid hunter. Marion was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and gardening for her family.

Marion is survived by her children, Frederick F Morey Jr. of Owego, Bernard (Carol) Morey of Erin, Vickie (Frank) Pierce of Elmira, Ronald (Pam) Morey of Chemung, and Connie (Jim) Sherman of Waverly, NY., 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A time for gathering with family and friends will be from 11 am to 12 pm, Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. The celebration of Marion's life will follow the visitation with Pastor Randy Stilson honoring her memory at 12 PM.
