Waite, Rosalie A.Rosalie A. Waite 72 loving wife of William (Bud) Waite of 115 Stedman St., Sayre, Pa. passed away on Sunday May 9, 2010 at the Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre surrounded by her loving family.
Rosalie was born on November 27, 1937 in Sayre, Pa. she is the of the late Charles and Mary Straus O"Connell.
Rosalie was a self-employed hairdresser for many years in her home. Rosalie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her family was her life. She also enjoyed working in her flower gardens. She was a member of the Church of the Epiphany, Sayre.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband William (Bud) Waite at home. Children: Christi (Bill) Douglas of Sayre, Pa., Patrick (Maureen) Waite of Westchester Pa., John (Tairita) Waite of Honolulu HI, Matthew (Lisa) Waite of Athens Pa., Paul (Sally) Waite of West Palm Beach FL. Fourteen grandchildren; Eric and Matthew Greninger, Adam, Elana, Mariella, Gracia, Margaret, Miriam, Zane, Joshua, Haleigh, Madison and Zachary Waite, and Melissa Brouillette. Five great-grandchildren. Sister Beatrice Tyson of Rochester NY and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials in Rosalie's name made be made to a charity of one's choice.
Rosalie was predeceased by her parents, Sister Patricia Redman and Brother Charles O"Connell.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Rosalie life will be held on Friday May 14, 2010 at 10:00 AM. at the Church of the Epiphany, Sayre Pa.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Blauvelt funeral Home 625 Broad St. Waverly, NY.
