He is survived by his wife Laura; stepsons Christopher (Karen) Stanton of NC, Daniel Stanton of Waverly; brother Rudolph of Hector, NY, niece Sarah (Luke) Farno and their son Jacob of Tipton, IN; nephew Jesse Hoppe of Scranton, PA; brothers-in-law Paul (Janet) Kenyon of Hamburg, NY, Carl (Karen) Kenyon of Horseheads and father-in-law Merle Kenyon of Painted Post, NY, and by his grandchildren who brought him incredible joy and made his life complete, Bradley, Tyler and Emily Stanton of NC.

Bob graduated from Waverly High School, class of 1956 and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a businessman in Waverly for many years, owning Bob’s TV & Appliance on Broad Street. He retired from IBM, Owego in 1994. Bob remained active in Waverly serving on several committees and currently was the President of the Village of Waverly Water Board. He followed in his father’s footsteps as a HAM radio operator (N2RIC) and was an active member of ARAST and CCARES. Bob’s interests were many, including the Model A Car Club, Glen Regional Corvette Club, the American Powerboat Association and the Antique Wireless Association where he pursued his life long interest in radios. Bob was a proud member of the ROMEOS, a great group of men who met at Becky’s Diner every morning. He had a great love of adventure and was quick to tackle any challenge.
