Rimbey, Helen C 

Helen went to be with her loving husband Lester surrounded by her loving family Saturday, December 26, 2009. Born November 24, 1922 to Raymond Shermer Sr. & Alice Frantz Shermer. She attented Sayre High School in Sayre, PA. She was predeceased by loving husband Lester, sister Marion and brother Raymond. Helen is survived by her children Rita Rimbey, John (Nancy) Rimbey, and Barbara Rimbey all of Waverly NY, her Grandchildren: Tim (Kathy) Farwell, Gary (Elaine)Farwell, Stacey (Mike) Lunger, Debbie (Matt) Bonnett, Jeff (Susan) Walker, Steven (Karen) Walker and Andrew Rimbey (Sarah Quinn) Great Grandchildren: Matt & Hanna Farwell, Ben, Sam & Kate Mertus, Connor Farwell, Rachel & Jordyn Lunger, Savannah Bonnett & Dylan, Devon, & Nicholas Walker and several nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed working in her yard and walking as long as she was able and spending time with her family.

A time for gathering with family and friends will be from 12-1 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, NY. The celebration of Helen's life will follow the visitation with the Rev. Anne Bey Canfield honoring her memory at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
