Alexander, Rose M.Rose M. Alexander, age 62 of 50 Ranch Road, Waverly, NY passed away Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. Born April 4, 1947 in Waverly, New York the daughter of the late Archie and Kathryn Crowley Maslin. Rose was a secretary at St. James School in Waverly, NY and at I.B.M. in Owego, NY as a computer specialist until her illness. She was a graduate of Waverly High School in 1965. Rose is survived by James her husband of 44 years, Son, Greg Alexander(and his friend Christie) of Up-State, NY. Her daughters: Patricia York of Apalachin, NY, Diane (Robert) Stefanik, and Tina Alexander of Waverly, NY. Her grandchildren: Alexandria (Allie) Frutchey of Waverly, NY, Samantha (Sam) Loveless, and Erica York of Apalachin, NY. Sisters: Jean (Lee) Miller, Catherine Maslin, and Margaret Brackin. Several nieces and nephews, Pre-deceased by her brother John W. (Jack) Maslin, sister, Mary Ann Maslin Williams, and her niece Carolyn Temple. Rose enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, race track, casinos, gardening and spending time with her family.
A time for gathering with family and friends will be from 12-2 PM, Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at the Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, NY. The celebration of Rose's life will follow the visitation with Hall Moore honoring her memory at 2 PM.
