Biography

Wagner, Carol E. 

Carol Emma Wagner 66 of Sayre Pa. passed away Wednesday morning May 27, 2009 at Robert Packer Hospital after a long courageous battle with cancer. Carol was born November 19, 1942 in Queens New York to the late Louis and Isabella Wagner. After she relocated from Long Island she worked at the former Sayre Lingerie factory and Robert Packer Hospital while she raised her two loving sons.

She was surrounded by many friends and family where she enjoyed activities of woodworking, knitting, gardening, and camping. She was an active member with the Sayre Presbyterian church and she enjoyed spending her spare time volunteering at Robert Packer hospital.

She is survived by her brothers and spouses Louis Wagner of Georgia, Robert (Shirley) Wagner of Florida, William Wagner of Minnesota, her children and spouses, Kevin Huddleston and Wendy Carlin of Sayre Pa, Wayne and France Huddleston and their two children Chenelle Mae and Sheldon Russell Huddleston of Waverly NY, numerous nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded by her sisters, Regina Shumway, Dorothy Rogers, Sue LaFrance-Lloyd and her brother Leroy Wagner.

A memorial service with friends and family will be held 2pm Saturday May 30, 2009 at the First Presbyterian Church 203 S. Elmer Ave Sayre Pa 18840.
