Sampson, Harry L. 

 Harry L. Sampson, Age 80, of 92 Moore Street, Waverly, New York passed away at his home Monday, May 4, 2009. Born May 5, 1928 in Waverly, New York the son of the late Alvin and Pearl Zimmer Sampson, He was employed by American Bridge, in Elmira Heights for many years, He enjoyed his Family, Camping at The Lake, Woodworking, Gardening. Harry was predeceased by: Brothers: Herbert, Alvin Jr, David Sampson and his great grandson Tharin Heinzelman.

Survived by: His loving and caring wife of 45 Years, Dolores. Sons and Daughters (grand children): L.Jay (Jennifer) Sampson, Melissa, Courtney and Jace, Scott Sampson, Alex, and Elizabeth, Brenton Sampson (Melanie), Kianna, Abigal, Shannon Sutryk (Frank), Trenton, Nolan, Louann (Bernie) Graham, Tressia (Spencer) Bretsch, Tyler, Cheyenne, Jody (Curt) Vanderpool, Bobby (Heather) Vanderpool, Michael, Lloyd (Kay) Sampson, Crystal (Tom) Heinzelman, Trenton, Jonnathan, Brad (Kathy) Sampson, Bradley, Justess, Amanda, Christi, Nick, Luke, Tyrus, his sister, Charolette Bowman, brother, John Sampson and several Nieces and Nephews.

A time for gathering with family and friends will be from 10 am to 12 noon, Friday, May 8, 2009 at Blauvelt Funeral Home, 625 Broad Street, Waverly, New York. The celebration of Harry's life will follow the visitation with the Rev. Anne Bey Canfield honoring his memory at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to Waverly V.F.W. Post 8104, Broad St., Waverly,N.Y. 14892. Burial Glenwood Cemetery, Waverly, New York. Those wishing may send a sympathy message of remembrance for Harry's family.
